At Leeson’s we believe animal welfare is paramount. We carefully select our suppliers so we can offer our customers delicious free range meats from traditional British farms. All our homemade products, including pies, sausages and cooked meats, are made from the these premium quality meats.
Packington Free Range are committed to providing their free range animals with an environment that meets their needs; space, food, water and psychological needs too. Packington Free Range have been awarded a Good Chicken and Good Pig Award from Compassion in World Farming.
A. Wright and Son are passionate about promoting Lincolnshire livestock. They are strong supporters of the livelihood of animals and their welfare. Their Lincolnshire beef and lamb are full traceable to selected local farmers and only travel a short distance to Wright’s own abattoir in Boston, causing minimal additional to the animal.
Colston Bassett Dairy make their cheese in the traditional way, using milk from local farms, all within 1.5 miles of the dairy in the Vale of Belvoir on the Nottinghamshire/ Leicestershire border. Colston Bassett Stilton cheese is created by a highly skilled and dedicated team of experienced staff using the recipe that has been handed down through the generations.
The Melton Cheeseboard offer the widest range of cheeses in Leicestershire & Rutland with over 150 different varieties to choose from, many of which are sourced locally. Leeson’s also sell their award winning Melton Mowbray pork pies at The Melton Cheeseboard store.
Mrs Darlington’s are very proud of their farming heritage and family recipes – delicious home cooked foods is something the Darlington family has been creating for generations. Their extensive range today includes over 70 traditional jams, curds, marmalades, chutneys, pickles, condiments and sauces.
Every now and then we are delighted to stock seasonal produce from our friends and family. This has included free range hen and quail eggs from Steve’s daughter, local Dexter beef and even wild Scottish venison from an authorised deer stalker!
