Before coming to Leeson’s and your Christmas dinner table, Packington Free Range have raised our turkeys from chicks supplied by award-winning breeder Paul Kelly, of Kelly Bronze. Taking them as day-old chicks ensures Packington Free Range are responsible for the welfare of the birds for their entire lives and can guarantee that their high standards have been maintained at all times.
The Turkeys are reared outside and have access to fields of traditional English pasture, as well as having shelter and protection from foxes.
The Turkeys are reared to an age at which maximises the flavour of the bird. Once ready, they are processed in state of the art facilities which are all BRC accredited.
