In order to ensure customers will always be served the finest quality meats along with high animal welfare standards, Leeson’s has appointed a new supplier for their beef and lamb.
A Wright & Son from Boston, Lincolnshire, was founded in 1870 by Arthur Wright, A. Wright and Son has been shaped by over a century of experience. They operate an EC approved abattoir, and buy livestock from local Lincolnshire farms. Wright’s are strong proponents of animals living a good life on traditional British farms with a high welfare standards. Their meats have full traceability to their selected farmers and, as they are hand-reared locally, only travel a short distance to the abattoir in Boston, causing minimal additional stress to the animal.
Wright’s are also committed to protecting the environment. They use eco-friendly packaging for all of our butcher produce, have invested in a solar panel system for their factory roof and recycle as much packaging as possible. Wright’s have have an active waste recycling system in place to deposit any extra material.
