Leeson’s raises winning pork pie at 2019 Melton Mowbray Fat Stock Show

Leeson Family Butchers in Oakham, Rutland have had another successful year at the Melton Mowbray Market annual Fat Stock Show.

This annual event is attended by farmers and producers across from across the Midlands, and competition for the best traditional hand raised pork is hard fought. Steve Leeson’s hand raised pork pie has been a consistent winner in local and national shows over the years, and he is delighted to be awarded first prize yet again in 2019.

As well as winning first in the hand raised pork pie category, Leeson’s impressed the judges to win two second and two third place rosettes for other pork pie categories and 2nd and 3rd places in homemade sausage categories.
